- This comes from the 1947 version of the Better Homes and
- Gardens cookbook. It's utterly delicious---I can hardly
- keep my fingers out of the bowl when making it!

- Butter cream frosting
- ----------------------

- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cream

- Throughly cream butter and sugar. Stir in unbeaten egg yolks
- and vanilla. Add cream as frosting becomes thick.
